Mark was such a selfless person who could never do too much for someone. I knew him in many capacities, first as a leader who trained me in so many things and then as a friend. Mark helped hugely when we moved into our house with the renovations. He could turn his hand to anything. Later he helped my Grandparents with replacing some flooring. My Nan, being disabled, only trusted people we brought with us and she along with Grandad took to Mark so quickly. She always asked after “that nice man” when chatting. Marks sense of humour was infectious although often it would take me a minute to catch up. Growing up I could never tell if he was being serious or not but I soon caught on that he most definitely wouldn’t be! His love for scouting, guiding and all things ‘helping’ are my lasting memories of Mark and what a wonderful thing to be remembered for. With love, Angelina
